1U Match respects the privacy of its users and has developed this Privacy Policy to demonstrate its commitment to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how that information we used when it’s necessary, with which it may be shared, and your choices about such uses and disclosures. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the 1U Match app or transacting business with us. By using our app, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information we collect about you
In General, we may collect your Personal Information, including Sensitive Data, and other information. Personal Information means individually identifiable information that would allow us to determine the actual identity of users, and contact a specific living person. Sensitive Data includes information like comments or content like photographs, video, profile, lifestyle, etc. that you optionally provide that may reveal your ethnic origin, nationality, and religion. By providing Sensitive Data to 1U Match, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of Sensitive Data as permitted by applicable privacy laws. We also collect your geolocation information with your permission. By using our app, you are authorizing us to gather, parse, and retain your data related to the provision of the Service. When you provide personal information through our Service, the information may be sent to servers located in the United States and countries around the world.
In addition, we collect and store the personal information you provide while using our app or in some other manner. This may include identifying information, such as your name, address, email address, and telephone number, and, if you transact business with us, financial information. We may also require data like photos, a personal description, and information about your gender and preferences for general recommendations, such as search distance, age-range, and gender. If you chat with other app users, you provide us the content of your chats, and if you contact us with customer service or other inquiries, you provide us with the content of that communication.
Use of technology to collect information: We use various technologies to collect information from your device and about your activities on our app.
Information collected automatically: We automatically collect information from your browser or device when you visit our app. This information could include your IP address, device ID and type, your browser type and language, the operating system used by your device, access times, and your mobile device’s geographic location while our application is actively running.
Cookies and use of cookie and similar data: When you use our app, we may assign your device one or more cookies or other technologies that facilitate personalization to facilitate access to our Service and to personalize your experience. Through the use of a cookie, we also may automatically collect information about your activity on our app, such as the profile of other users you visit, the time, and date of your visits and the links you click. If we advertise, we or third parties may use certain data collected on our app to show you 1U Match advertisements on other sites or applications.
Pixel tags. We embed pixel tags that also called web beacons or clear GIFs on pages, ads, and emails. These tiny, invisible graphics are used to access cookies and track user activities such as how many times a page is viewed. We use pixel tags to measure the popularity of the features of our app and the services we provide. Ad companies also use pixel tags to measure the number of ads displayed and their performance such as how many people clicked on an ad.
Mobile device IDs: We use mobile device IDs which is the unique identifier assigned to a device by the manufacturer, or Advertising IDs for iOS 6 and later, instead of cookies, to recognize you. We do this to store your preferences and track your use of our app. Unlike cookies, device IDs cannot be deleted, but Advertising IDs can be reset in settings on your iPhone. Ad companies also use device IDs or Advertising IDs to track the number of ads displayed, use of the app, measure ad performance, and display ads that are more relevant to you. Analytics companies use device IDs to track information about app usage.
HOW WE MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may use the Personal Information we obtain about you to:

With whom we share your information:
Information Shared with Other users when you register as a user of the 1U Match app. Your profile will be viewable by other users of the app. Other users will be able to view the information you have provided to us directly.
Personal information: We do not share your personal information with anyone except as mention in this Privacy Policy or when we inform you and give you an opportunity to opt-out of having your personal information shared. We may share personal information with:
Service providers: We may share your personal information, including financial information, with third parties that perform certain services on our behalf. These services may include completion of orders, ad tracking and analytics, member screenings, supporting our Service functionality, and supporting contests, sweepstakes, performing business and sales analysis, providing customer service and marketing assistance, surveys, and other features offered through our Service. These service providers may have access to the personal information you provide to perform their functions but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purposes.
Other Situations: We also disclose your personal information in response to investigate any issue, to defend against legal claims, a court order, exercise our legal rights, or a request for cooperation from law enforcement or other government agency, or as otherwise required by law.
When we believe disclosure is appropriate in connection with efforts to investigate, to protect, and defend the rights, property, or safety of our company, take other action regarding any illegal activity such as suspected fraud or any other illegal action, our users, our employees, or others to comply with applicable law or cooperate with law enforcement, or to enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements or policies.
We also share your information, in connection with a substantial corporate transaction such as a divestiture, merger, consolidation, the sale of our business, or asset sale, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy.
Aggregated or non-personal information: We also use your non-personal information we collect under any of the above circumstances. We may also share it with third parties to develop and deliver targeted advertising on our app. For example, we may engage a data provider who may collect data from you including IP address and information about your device or operating system, or place or recognize a unique cookie on your device to enable you to receive customized ads or content. The cookies may reflect de-identified demographic or other data linked to data you voluntarily have submitted to the app such as your email address that we may share with a data provider solely in hashed, non-human readable form. We may also share your geolocation information in de-identified form with 1U Match and third parties for the above purposes. To opt-out of the sharing of your geolocation information, please discontinue the use of the app.
Do Not Track disclosure:
Do Not Track (DNT) is a privacy preference that users can set in their mobile device. It is a way for users to inform app and services that they do not want certain information about their page visits collected over time and across the app or online services. We are committed to providing you with meaningful choices about the information we collect from every user of our app and that is why we provide the opt-out links.
Third-party websites
There are a number of places on our app where you may click on a link to access other websites that do not operate under our Privacy Policy. For example, if you click on an advertisement on our app, you may be taken to a website that we do not control. These third-party websites may independently solicit and collect all the information from you, including your personal information, and in some cases, these advertising websites may provide us with information about your activities on those websites.
How you can access and correct your information:
If you have a 1U Match account, you have the ability to review and update your personal information within the Service by opening your account and going to settings. Applicable privacy laws may allow you the right to access and request the correction of errors or omissions in your personal information that is under our control. Our Privacy Officer will assist you with the access request.
We will respond to your profile requests within the time allowed by all applicable privacy laws and will make every effort to respond as accurately, quickly, and completely as possible. Any corrections made to personal information will be promptly sent to any organization to which it was disclosed.
In certain exceptional circumstances, we may not be able to provide access to the certain personal information we hold. For security purposes, not all personal information is accessible by the Privacy Officer. If access or corrections cannot be provided, we will notify the individual making the request within 30 days, in writing, of the reasons for the refusal.
Data retention
We keep safe your information only as long as we need it for legitimate business purposes and as permitted by applicable legal requirements. We will retain certain data for analytical purposes and recordkeeping integrity when you close your account, we will use this information to prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Use, and take actions we deem necessary to protect the integrity of our app and our respected users, or take other actions otherwise permitted by law. If certain information has already been provided to third parties as described in this Privacy Policy, retention of that information will be subject to those third parties’ policies.
Your choices about collection and use of your information:
You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but that may result in you being unable to use certain features of the app because such information may be required in order for you to register as a user, use a certain feature on the app, purchase products or services; participate in an event, promotion, survey, or sweepstakes, ask a question or initiate other transactions. For example, a video calling feature may require access to your camera.
Our Service also delivers notifications to your mobile device. You can disable these notifications by going into App Settings on the app or by changing the settings on your mobile device. You can also control information collected by cookies. You can delete or decline cookies by changing your device settings.
How we protect your personal information
We take security measures to help safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure. However, no system can be completely secure but we ensure that the information you shared with us will be in a safe hand. We take steps to secure your personal information. We do not promise that your personal information, chats, or other communications will always remain secure. Users should also take care with how they handle and share their personal information and should avoid sending personal information through insecure email.
You agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues, such as security breaches. We may post a notice on our app if a security breach occurs. We may also send an email to you at the email address you have provided to us. You have a proper legal right to receive this notice in writing.
Information you provide about yourself while using our app
We provide areas on our app where you can post information about yourself and other and communicate with others users. Such postings are governed by our Terms of Use. Whenever you voluntarily disclose your personal information on publicly-viewable pages, that information will be available for everyone who views the page and can be used by others easily. For example, if you post your email address, you may receive unsolicited messages. We cannot control your information that you publically disclose, who reads your posting, or what other users may do with the information you voluntarily post publically, so we encourage you not to share your personal data and caution with respect to your personal information. Except as required by a court order or other similar legal proceeding, we will only make messages you send to another user through our app accessible on the Service, unless you expressly request a copy of your messages in accordance with applicable law. Should you wish to receive a copy of any messages you received from other users through our app, you must first obtain their prior written consent and then they must contact our Privacy Officer to provide their prior written consent.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY:
We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use Personal Information, as defined by the Federal Trade Commission’s Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Rule, from children under 13 years of age, and no part of the Service is directed to children under the age of 13. If you learn that your child has provided us with Personal Information without your consent, you may alert us through e-mail. If we get to know that we have collected any Personal Information from children under 13, then we will surely take steps to delete such information and terminate the account as well.
MATCHING:
In order to match you more effectively and perfectly, we may use your Personal Information and preferences to perform automated analyses, identify correlations, and make predictions about your interests. This may include the use of dating preference Personal Information and may affect your match results on the app. We also arrange events to introduce our users to interact with each other according to their interests. For example, your education level and your preference for someone with the same political beliefs may match you. Similarly, you and others may be excluded as a match based on your profile.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We will occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the law, our data collection, and use practices, the features of our Service, or advances in technology. When we post changes to this Privacy Policy, we will revise the last updated date at the top of this Privacy Policy, which will be posted on the Services under Settings, and you should regularly check for the most recent version, which is the version that applies. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you of the changes by reasonable means, which could include notifications through the app or via email. Please review the changes carefully. Your continued use of the app following the posting of changes to this policy will mean you consent to and accept those changes. If you do not consent to such changes you can delete your account by following the instructions in the app Settings.
Eligibility:
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on the 1U Match app to use our Service. By creating an account and using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

You can form a binding contract with 1U Match,

You are not a person who is barred from using the Service under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction

You will comply with this Agreement and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules and regulations
Arbitration, Class-Action Waiver, and Jury Waiver:
Except for users residing within the EU or European Economic Area and elsewhere where prohibited by applicable law:

The exclusive ways of resolving any dispute or claim arising out or relating to this Agreement or the Service shall be binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under the Consumer Arbitration Rules. Whether you choose small claims court or arbitration, you are not under any circumstances or maintain against the Company, or other representative action or proceeding.

By using the Service in any manner, you agree to the above arbitration agreement. In doing so, you give up your right to go to court to assert or defend any claims between you and the Company. You also give up your right to participate in an event or other proceeding. Your rights will be determined by a Neutral Arbitrator, not a judge or jury, and the arbitrator shall determine all issues regarding the arbitrability of the dispute. You have the right to a fair hearing before the arbitrator.

This Agreement, and any dispute between you and the 1U Match, shall be governed by the laws of the state of America without regard to principles of conflicts of law, provided that this arbitration agreement shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
